A snip..

.. has to be absolutely sudden. Like a smooth stroke of titanium edged extra sharp blade, that just rustles past your dermis but leaves you wounded in the epidermis. One doesn't realise what has happened until there is a drip. Oozing of blood, sweet blood, followed by a burning sensation.
It might sound as if it doesn't pain but it does.
