By the grace of God and the revered Maintenance Secretary, we were provided with very handy computer tables. These tables, like all computer tables, have a desktop for keeping
1. Computer Monitor
2. Books
3. Notes
4. Stationery
5. Mouse (PC mouse)
6. Locks
7. Infinite number of keys
8. Phone Chargers
9. Cellphones
10. Mosquito Repellent
11. Cigarette Packets
12. Matchboxes
13. Handkerchiefs
14. Blank CDs
15. Posters
16. Utensils
17. Battery Charger
18. Dust
19. Dead Mosquitoes
20. Wires, Cables and Cords
21. Styrofoam
22. Free 5 rupee packet of Fair and Lovely
23. Candy Wrappers etc
Then we have drawers. A sliding one and a non-sliding one, which doesn't even have a closure. Drawer has more things than the tabletop.
We have a floorboard kind of thing on which rests the CPU and the UPS.
Then one of the most innovative additions in a piece of furniture - Keyboard Slider. It's very suave. When we slide it in, nobody can even tell that we have a keyboard. But, of late, it has been hanging loose and keeps coming off the plates which join the sliding board to the main table. Thus it becomes a major pain to
1. Play NFS
2. Play CS
3. Chat
4. Work for College Magazine
5. Rest your leg on the keyboard slider
6. Sleep soundly as it always manages to fall off in the middle of the night.
The problem with this arrangement, as is with every arrangement (including our lives), is shortage of screws.
